THANK YOU, DISTRICT 1 NEIGHBORS! BUT THE WORK ISN'T DONE YET! VOTE FOR CAROL ON NOVEMBER 5!
Local Focus: District 1
Carol's concern is for local issues that affect District 1: managing growth, conserving our environment, affordable housing, veterans' care, being a good steward of our resources and not grandstanding on national issues!
Protecting Finances
Carol will vote against impractical or wasteful spending projects. She will also make sure that growth pays for itself through full collection of impact fees from developers at proper rates, not outdated rates.
Civic Engagement
Carol will get up close and personal with her constituents. She will respond meaningfully to emails and calls, and hold regular town halls. She will educate the public and improve communication from the BoCC and county staff.
Events & Announcements
THANK YOU, NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS!
We are elated to announce that, thanks to YOU, and your tireless efforts to inform your neighbors, Carol won the Republican Primary for District 1!
Manatee County voters deserve so much better than we've gotten in the last few years and it takes an informed electorate - something that Carol has been fighting to improve for two decades - to make change, to have accountable small government. She passionately believes that we should all be in touch with our first line of representation, and she will be that FOR YOU. No more being ignored. You're the boss!
The next step is a WIN in November. We are confident that we can do that, and deliver FOR YOU. We still need your help so that we can bring it home for Manatee County. Relish the victory, sweet as it is, but soon it will be time to get back to work! God bless you all!

Check Your Voter Registration!
Are You Registered to Vote?
Florida is a closed primary state. What does that mean?
It means that you can only vote in the primary of the party in which you are registered. So if you're registered as a Republican, you can vote in the Republican primaries - but ONLY in Republican primaries! People who are not registered Republicans cannot vote in the Republican primary.
Carol is running as a Republican for County Commissioner. To vote for Carol in August, you will need to be a registered Republican living in District 1 of Manatee County.
